I’ve been best friends with my BFF for 5 years now, I love that guy to death. He’s always been there for me, we’re pretty close, we talk almost every day and just check up on each other. I know his whole family and vice versa.. we’ve been there for each other’s failed relationships & always helped each other out.

Two years ago we actually tried “us” got in a relationship, didn’t last at all. As to I found out he was sexting other females, I broke up with him. Didn’t talk to him for a whole year until I was finally able to move on from that trauma. He wanted to work things out again but I told him I would never give us another chance. He accepted it and now we’re back to being bff. I started dating this guy (3 months) & he jokingly made a comment saying “I’m sure your BFF likes you, I’m surprised you guys haven’t got together” I stood quiet. He looked at me and changed the subject, idk if I should be honest with him when he does ask me…

What would you do?

I’m scared of telling him and him flipping or staring arguments when I’m with my bff. As of now he doesn’t get bothered at all when I hang out with my bff.. I just don’t want that to change..
