I haven’t had a c-section but friends who have said there drs recommended 18-2yrs between c-sections. Also recommended if intending to Vbac to have at least 12-18 months ha between labours

My husband and I had our first baby in July 2020.
We were told by our midwife to wait at least 6 months which we did.
We started trying 7 months after and fell pregnant with our second baby first month of trying which was born October 2021.
Both by C-section.
Different people and places give different advice.
This was right for us as we wanted 2 children and we wanted them close in age to grow up together.
We also wanted to do all the nappy and feedings at the same time too.

I had a great first pregnancy with no complications, I had a c section with his birth. I wound up pregnant 6 months post partum with my nov baby and the pregnancy was tough because my body didn’t really have the time to recover. I was on pelvic rest, started seeing my OB at 19 weeks and from 32 weeks on had weekly appointments, had NSTs weekly, was on progesterone and my water broke at 37 weeks, 1 day before my scheduled c section because they wouldn’t allow me to try VBAC. I’m also young, I’m 20. Being pregnant so soon after and being super heavily pregnant while taking care of a toddler was tough!

After my first 9/20 with a Csec (planned) I had gotten pregnant again in March and was totally a surprise and not planned.

I had my daughter in the august (csection) and i got pregnant again straight away had a normal delivery in the September the following year, my labour went fine no issues x

My Mum died from complications due to getting pregnant too soon after a C-section (17 months pp). I'd definitely wait the recommended 18-24 months.
