Nipt testing results?

Question

I went to a high risk doctor due to pre term labor in my last pregnancy.
Everything was good in terms of the cervix and fluid.
However, she did find the Nuchal translucency to be thick (4.31mm)
And she said that one of the heart chambers was under developed.
Anyone else had something similar? What were the outcomes?

You may need to wait until the 20 week ultrasound for more extensive anatomy scan and then if they still think they have may be more going on they will send you to a specialist that does only fetal echocardiogram or ultrasound to look specifically at the heart. I’ve known both outcomes because I’m in the echo world. Best wishes to you you’ll be in my thoughts and prayers that it’s all going to be ok. The hardest part is the wait.

Sounds like it could be Down syndrome. Did your NIPT not pick up on that?

Seems a bit early. I am over 35 (geriatric/high risk) AND I had a late term preemie the last time (more high risk). But I dont go to the hospital and am instead see midwives because they freak out a lot less and dont see anything as high risk unless the blood pressure goes up, there is bleeding or issues in the heart rate. 
But I think development varies a lot and that is why a scan isnt done until 20 wks to confirm organs are growing properly.
