Wet diapers

This is probably a really stupid question, but what counts as a wet diaper? My baby is 8 weeks if that matters. She’s been sleeping pretty good at night, so I usually only change her once during the night. I change her diaper every time she eats during the day (so every 3 ish hours), and it’s always wet, but not always super soaked. Just wondering if that’s okay? Just seems kind of arbitrary because the more often I change her the less full each diaper will be.
