Which sacrifice would you choose?

If you were getting to an age where you felt like it was now or never to become a mother, would you sacrifice being a single parent just to have the one thing in the world you’ve always wanted, which is to be a mother or would you continue to hold on to the hope that one day that right man would walk into your life and you could start a family with him, even if it meant you would possibly have to give up the hope of becoming a parent?

That’s a choice I faced. Approaching 40, not met mr right but always wanted to be a mum. I made the decision to have children on my own. I now have a 10 month old and nearly 8 weeks pregnant with baby no 2. 
I didn’t want to keep waiting and then find I missed my chance. Plus with dating, it put so much pressure on as I was always thinking ahead to settling down and having a baby, it was doomed to fail. So for now I’m focusing on my daughter/new baby. I’ve stopped dating since I’ve been on this journey as I personally didn’t want to while I’m carrying someone else’s child or have a young child but I will get back to dating at some point in the future. 
It’s hard doing it alone but having my daughter was the best thing I ever did and I have no regrets.

Depends on the age. I was 37 when I had my son after trying every single month for 5 years and being married for almost 20 years. I wanted to be a mom more than anything at that point. I would have absolutely done it single if it was the only way.
