So I started to introduce my baby to food around 6 months old. Just soft food, mostly fruit purees, and baby cereal. The older he got the more food I would introduce to him. Usually something small from whatever I was having. Like rice or mash potatoes.

He was at the point where he was eating everything the we were eating.

The last couple days however, he stopped eating and will only let me give him furit purees, yougurt and rice cookies, the ones that dissolve.

I can't seem to figure out why. I've be blaming everything, from teething to constipation. (He's had issues with constipation in the past.)

He does kinda have a cold. Mostly runny nose and occasionally he has a cough. Maybe he also has a sore throat and that's why he's refusing all other foods. I'm not really sure what to do. He seems otherwise totally fine. He's happy during the day and takes his nap without a fuss.

My husband thinks I should take him to the doctor but I'm afraid my doctor is going to think I'm one of those people who goes to doctor for every little thing.

Has this happened to anybody else? What was your child's reason for refusing food?

I can't just keep feeding him the same 3 things for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
