Ive been apart of the community for 5 years and have always been to intimidated to go to a munch. Social anxiety. I finally got the courage to go one day and it was absolutely, a good time. It wasn't "just a bunch of old people", not super formal, conversation was light, no one tried getting me to set up a scene. There were a lot of funny kinky innuendos/jokes. Conversation only got sexual one time and it was because someone was showing off a photo of their BD toy. Which I chose to partake in looking. It wasn't even sexual, just conversation about a dildo. Everyone was super respectful of consent/hugs, personal space and social limits. I even almost dropped a metal chair at one point LOL everyone kinda watched me struggle but it was wholesome and cute, no one made me feel bad for being awkward. I hope everyone who wants to gets the chance to experience a munch gets an easy going crowed like I did their first time. 🍒💥
