Emotional Rollercoaster on this TTC Journey

I'm 22 years old and I am trying to conceive I BD the whole week after my period up until my possible ovulation day. I am feeling sad today because I had a vivid dream lastnight and I took a HPT but it came out negative its been like 5 DPO, am I rushing or is it too early to know?
