Would this be a strange thing to say

A guy friend of mine FaceTime me and told me that a page was linked to his account and it was private so he was worried that someone is trying to post as him and that they could be posting things about raping women and or killing puppies. When he told me this I first thought what the fuck and it made me panic then I thought wait why would those two things specifically come to his mind?
