Did the dr mess up?

I had a chemical wensday. Went to the ob Thursday to confirm sense I started bleeding. By this time there test was neg. So no blood draw. Then my at home test was neg. Im bleeding a little and tested my ovulation to start tracking and its almost positive...odd. take a preg test there now a line on it...pink is ovulation blue is the preg test

This just looks like residual hcg from the chemical unfortunately. If you’re bleeding and there’s any tissue at all in it, it’s not a pregnancy. So sorry. It takes a while for it to leave your system.

Was the negative test that you took at home later in the day or dilated maybe? That is odd it’s positive now. Just keep testing and see if it darkens. I hope you get some answers soon.

My urine test at my OB was negative the day I started bleeding from my chemical as well. They told me the tests they use require an hcg level of 25 or more for it to read positive. I was still testing positive on home tests with a lower sensitivity level for a few days after but blood tests did confirm that I had a chemical. It just takes time for your levels to go back down to zero/get a negative test. If you’re concerned or questioning their judgement, ask for a blood test. They’ll do 2 at least 48 hours apart to see if your levels are rising or declining
