Husband pushed me 6 months pregnant

Mommies, I’m in quite the pickle. My husband and I have been together for 10 years, and have our second baby on the way. On Thursday I put my toddler down for a nap (she’s been protesting them for about a week now and crying non stop until she falls asleep) well my husband went to lay her back down and needed up getting really frustrated with her. He started banging on her crib so I ran upstairs to relieve him. This is when it gets crazy. He starts pushing me out of the room because he wants to handle it. I tell him that he isn’t in the right frame of mind and to let me handle it. So I go to reach for my daughter and he blocks me, picks her up and starts shoving me out of her room at which point she shoves me too hard and I fall, again I’m 6 months along. Now, before you ask, he has NEVER EVER reacted this way, never laid a hand on me nor has he ever come remotely close to either. He is the most laid back, level headed person. This came out of nowhere. I went to get assessed at the Womens hospital just to be safe and everything is ok. My daughter and I left and haven’t been home since. On Friday, I woke up with bruises on my arms. He feels absolutely horrible and is just sick about what happened and stands by his intent was just to get me out of the room. He called my dad, a retired officer and told him what happened as well as his mom. So, it’s not like he’s trying to hide from this. Mommies, I’m at a loss and could use advice. My concern is what if he loses his marbles again in a few months when our baby boy arrives? I just don’t think I can trust him again. I just never thought I’d be in this situation, especially with him.
