Who to have in Delivery room

Question

I’m due this week. My entire pregnancy I haven’t seen my sons father besides when I told him we are expecting. He reached out to me twice the whole 9 months. Has not got our son anything. 
When I go into labor should I call him to invite him to the delivery? Or should I just do this alone? I have not spoke to him since December 3… 
I don’t want to be that bitter baby mama but I’m already 39 weeks pregnant the baby could’ve already been born he has no idea.

I would inform him you’re in labor, but not invite him. Then you can tell him once the baby has arrived and you’ve recovered a bit. Use that spot for somebody who will give you some support.

I was in a very similar situation. I told him and he came to the delivery. I was miserable the whole time he was there and felt very uncomfortable. I felt I had to be guarded and on edge all the time and it took away from the bonding time I should have had with my son. 
If I could do it again, he would never have been invited.

I would tell him yours in labor but he shouldn’t be allowed to be there. He wasn’t there the whole 9 months, hasn’t gotten ready for your son why should he be there to see him born. He doesn’t deserve it. Even letting him know your having the baby is too nice to me but I’m trying to be more nice these days 😒
