Boyfriend avoids getting this task done 🙄

Since we’ve moved, we expanded the kitchen table to store some loose items during our move.

Well, it’s been a year, and I’ve decided that it’s time to organize that damn table since we have spare time. We have to decide what’s to be kept, thrown out, and to be moved to another location. And to shrink the size of the table to small for more space in the kitchen.

I’ve decided this about a month and a half ago, and he agreed to it. But because his things are underneath the table he wanted to “help”, and that I don’t do it myself. Every day off he says “we’ll do the table”, the day off comes I say “ready to do the table?” He goes “in an hour”. Hours pass, and he says tomorrow, tomorrow tomorrow. And well, a month and a half goes by and it’s not getting done!

Earlier today he says again that we will do the table, I agree. And again, it doesn’t happen.

“I’m tired. It’s late. Tomorrow.” Is how it basically goes.

He’s so tired, that after chilling on the couch with me, he decided to hop back on his computer and do his flight simulator. That’s just how exhausted he is.

And I am beyond frustrated! Every time I bring up that I can do it myself, “no we’ll do it together”.

It’s not like it will take us hours! Literally might take 30-40 minutes!

I am not good at confrontation, or getting stern with someone. So I stay silent, or ignore it altogether. I’m about ready to say to hell with the table. I’m done trying to get this task done. I’m done trying to make this house better.
