Tail bone pin. Help!!?

I can’t sleep, I can’t seat, hardly walk. Currently 28weeks pregnant. Can’t sleep on my side comfortably either cause of tail bone pain and also hip pain. Not connected to the tail bone though as the hip pain started since first trimester. Please help. Anything I can do? Anyone with experience or advice? We have only 1 chiropractor in my state and he is fully booked.

I’m not sure if this will help your tailbone pain, but I’ve recently started going to PT for pelvic pain which is connected to some of my lower back/left area pain. My therapist says to try as often as I can to consciously pull my belly in and pull my pelvis up/forward. This will straighten your lower back and it helps me when walking a lot.

I second the pregnancy pillow and stretching. Personally I like doing cat/cow for my lower back + seated hip flexor stretches. Both should be easily explained by google. For the pillow you want something that will go between your knees and down the length of your leg. If you can’t get into a chiropractor can you maybe get a pregnancy massage? You’d want to be careful and get someone who specializes in pregnancy. Maybe your doctor would be willing to refer you to physical therapy?

Since the chiropractor is not an option I would suggest getting a donut pillow. I was having the same problem and started going to the chiropractor. If you look on YouTube you can find some videos of stretches and different things to help. They’ve referred me to those to do in between visits, I’m sure it would help you even without getting to go to one.
