Pump for Labor ? 😩🐣

Y’all, this is my second pregnancy going passed my due date and I’m so over it. I know I know “nothing will make baby come til they Are ready” and I swore I wasn’t gonna try to do any at home Induction tricks but my God im sick of being pregnant. I broke out the pump today. Has it help induce any of y’all or just another old wives tale?

I am right there with you ! But I am only 37 weeks but this is my fourth one and finally one !!  I tired the midwife brew my last two pregnancy and I swear they worked for me ! But of course ask your dr first I was a day before my due date . Good luck

I’ve been using my pump to collect colostrum since 36 weeks. Still pregnant at 38+5. I wouldn’t rely on it haha

It hasn’t helped so far, but my doctor said it does work to release oxytocin which causes contractions. Pumping, sex, and walking is what he recommended.

Pumping, walking, and sex are supposed to be the most effective, with pumping being number one because it releases oxytocin. I’d be trying all 3 if I were you. I’d be doing it too right now but I’ve got a cold and really want to kick it before I go into labor….so I’m still waiting. But I’m only 38w4d so I’m not as far along as you. Wishing you all the luck, I know it feels endless!
