Surrogate Grandparents

Hey momma's. So weird topic but I've heard of there being some programs where you can find surrogate Grandparents for your kids if you really don't have family or your family is too far away to be an active part of your kids lives. Both my hubby and I have our own set of grandparents that love our kids but it's not the same bond and they don't have the same kind of time and energy for them like they did for us.

Have any mommas done something like this? Did it work out well for you? How did you get in touch with them?
