Has anyone had success with breastfeeding with flat nipples? And what’d you do? With my daughter I tried and tried and kept having to give her a bottle because she couldn’t latch at all. She’d suck once or twice but then stop and scream. Eventually I just exclusively pumped and bottle fed her. I’m now pregnant with my second and want to prepare a little more this time now that I know this was such a struggle with my first. The lactation nurses at the hospital were very unhelpful and rude and covid had just hit so I couldn’t see a lactation specialist after we got back from the hospital. My nipples are not inverted, so I’m wondering if anyone specifically with flat nipples has successfully breastfed and what did you do?
