these are for a friend but is it possible for 2 to get evap lines when they weren’t left out for too long?

These tests almost always dry like this, whether positive or negative. It's crucial that she pays attention to the time frame. If the lines were there within the time frame then they're positive, if not they're evaps. I'm an avid CB tester and have used them on all 4 of my pregnancies.. the time frame is crucial.

The second test is invalid there’s not a full line and the first test looks weird with the color. I’d say both are evaps from faulty tests.
