SO being weird?

tell me what y’all think. my SO is an over the rode truck driver. we have a routine not strict but we normally talk on the phone when i’m home from work and then he drives about 3-4 more hours so we talk later in the night until he stops and not even for long sometimes yes long. well lately he’s been ignoring my calls.. he texts me every now and then. he’s done this a good three or four times and it’s random.. he’s been a driver for maybe 1 in a half years now. it’s a little weird to me.. he tells me he needs to refocus but he’s not even home he’s gone and by himself on the rode and always talks on how he’s “bored” and idk what he needs to refocus from.. he’s saying it’s nothing against me but I find it weird bc he never does this.. idk what he’s doing but I need opinions on this. yes it’s ok to need time to yourself every now and then but he’s not even home with me and the kids he’s gone. I expressed it makes me feel like he’s doing something else or talking to someone else and he said he’s not but idk what to think at this point.. he’s shutting me out at random times and it’s bothering me
