Hi everyone! Im 36 weeks and 2 days and, since the second trimester, I've had issues with a shortened cervix. At my appointment today, my dr saw that the cervix decreased from 2.5 cm last week to now 1.9 cm and he let me know that it may be a possibility that I begin bedrest this Friday (Feb 11). He wants to see me again on Thursday just to keep an eye on this and to confirm that bedrest what I'll need.

My due date isnt until march 6th and I'm nervous because currently our baby is head down, but has not dropped into my pelvis and I'm not yet dilated at all. I'm scared this is going to lead to an induction.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a shortened cervix at 36 weeks and, if so, did you make it to term? Did bedrest help? Any and all advice is welcome ❤😊
