No epidural
I wanna hear your stories, tips, advice, well anything and everything. I've always had to get medications to help my contractions get stronger because they wouldn't on there own. (unless I want to be in labor for a week.) I've always caved and gotten the epidural but with my last baby It took 3 tries for them to get it in the right spot and then the iv tubing came undone. 🤯 so I had the epidural in place all taped up and kept hitting the button for meds and getting nothing. It was leaking all over my bed and the floor for over 3hrs before anyone noticed. At the point they finally noticed I was already at a 9.5 and couldn't even get pain meds through my iv and had to push with the epidural in place. Yall I was so scared that if I moved the wrong way I was going to paralyze my self or something. Everything that was supposed to be numb and out of my control I had full control over. Now im having baby number 4 in less than 2 weeks without the epidural and am just nervous about the pain and remembering to breath. Ill be induced so I know its gunna be hella painful but hopefully won't take as long since its my 4th so I think I can handle it but whats yalls thoughts and experiences like?
