Potty training - what do you use??

Question

We bought a mini toilet and my son has used it a few times but he uses a big potty at daycare so I'm wondering if maybe he just needs a step stool or one of those potty step up inserts. What do you guys use? Which one is the holy grail product?

We had a normal potty seat topper for the toilet for a few months, but because our toilet us round none of the ones we tried really fit well, eve if it said it was for a round toilet. They always slipped. So I ended up buying this "family" toilet seat a few weeks ago and it's been great!!!  It's a normal toilet seat with a small seat insert. Yca

We never used a tiny toilet or a special seat for the toilet. Just the regular toilet. He’s been fine. I didn’t want to potty train and then be attached to whatever special toilet we started with and then have to adjust to the regular toilet. Also, we can go in public and use any old toilet and he’s fine.

We have 2 of these. Our toilets are very tall so he has to use it. At school they have tiny toilets so he stands to pee at school
