Cat being weird?

I’m 32 weeks and our cat this week has started acting WEIRD. She has started sitting in front of me just staring at me. She is doing other bizarre things too. Nothing too crazy but her behavior is off. She’s spayed and in good health.
My question is : did anyone else’s cat get this way before they went into labor? My husband thinks that’s why she is acting this way.

I've had a similar thing since we found out I'm pregnant. Our cat will sit infront of me like a guard dog under our coffee table and just stare at me! He's also started to be more gentle with me and he's not been biting me as much when he wants to play its so odd!!

Aw lol. I've heard of cats doing some stuff like that, animals can sense and smell different hormones etc. So maybe?!

Yeah, my cat got extra clingy, although I'm the primary feeder, so they tend to flock to me anyways🤷‍♀️ they LOVE sleeping in the baby stuff tho lol

When I was pregnant with my son our cat started acting weird towards the end of my pregnancy. She went from being my bbf to snubbing me and jumping out of my arms if I picked her up. I remember crying 😆. She has since passed away and we have a new cat. He is still super snuggly and is all over me the moment I sit down. Time will tell if he'll get weird too.
