Potty training?

How's it going? We just got my son to like the potty so that's a huge deal. He's gone a few times on it. I am prepping him and myself to start potty training Monday. Anyone successful yet? I feel like this is the golden time now he's excited and before he thinks he has the option to say no.

Been potty trained during the day for about three months. We wear pull-ups at night. Most nights she is dry, just not wanting to deal with cleaning up messes as also have 18 month old and 3 month old 🤷‍♀️

My daughter was fully potty trained at 20 months she watched my daughter and myself going potty and showered interest so I set a timer to go off for every hour and a half and I would sit her on the potty. Every time she went we wiped washed hands and I would give her a fruit snack. A week later she was going by her self with no accidents a month later she was in panties day and night.

My day has been potty trained for a while. We used a speed method. She was naked for a few days, then we had her in a dress with no underwear, then pants without underwear and then eventually underwear and pants. The first few days were really hard and I was ready to give up and then she got it.

We aren’t yet. He’s aware of the potty and what it’s about, but so far he’s not showing much interest. Occasionally he’ll sit on it, and one time he sat on it when he had to poop then got scared and stood up and pooped on the floor so that might’ve turned him off the whole thing for a while lol
But I’m also not in a rush. Everyone in his family potty trained closer to 4 (and I found it super easy to wait with my first). I’ll probably give it a solid try when we have a long weekend in the summer because he’s supposed to be potty trained before he moves to the preschool room in daycare this fall.
