Supposed to be 6wks

Hey all I had an early scan on account of my previous miscarriages and according to my dates I’m supposed to be 6 weeks. Well the scan showed I was measuring at least a week behind and we did not have a heartbeat 🥲 my doctor says it could go either way. Either the pregnancy will continue to grow or not. I’m just needing support. Is there still hope or should I just resign to another loss. Has this happened to anyone and then they actually found a heartbeat at 8weeks??? I feel so depressed and defeated.
