Pregnant after IUD removal- how long did it take?

Hey guys, so I just got my IUD taken out a couple weeks ago. Just curious- has anyone had their IUDs taken out before and tried to get pregnant? If so, how long did it take for you guys to conceive? Im still waiting on my period which should have come 5 days ago. I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago (just to be sure) but it was negative 😔

Okay…don’t judge but I actually kept my IUD in for 11 years instead of the normal 5 years. It was working and I only had a 1-2 day period every 6 months or longer. When the OBGYN I worked for finally removed it I got pregnant before I even had my first post IUD period…if I didn’t drink olive juice at work and had access to get my blood drawn at work I wouldn’t have known. So pregnant first month post IUD ending in miscarriage and then I got pregnant 7 months after that and had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Now 8 months later I am 38 years old and almost 14 weeks pregnant. We actually thought this one was going to be a miscarriage as well because of spotting and nothing seen in first 2 sonos…then 3 sono there was a baby and heart beat. From my experience after an IUD removal it might take a few cycles to build up your lining and have good progesterone levels. Hope it helps.

Out in sept got pregnant in July and miscarried then got pregnant in February and she is now 15 months!!!

In my case it took 4 months but on the upside for me I got blessed with Twins. 🙏🥰 Good luck to you mama 🙂

I got pregnant 4 months after removal. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage. It took me 1 year after that to get pregnant with my son

I had mine out, bled, had a cycle and then fell pregnant the next cycle. I did miscarry but then fell pregnant again the following cycle. 28 weeks now ❤️
