Hi everyone! I am in my third trimester 30w5d. My partner and I are expecting our second at the end of April.

I am high-risk and in the midst of writing my will just in case things take a turn for the worse. Which I have been informed could happen. I have a couple of conditions that with a pregnancy make me high risk for death. I have a blood condition that causes me to clot during pregnancy. I am severing from extreme anemia and my iron keeps dropping so low that I end up passing out. I’ve been getting infusions and whatnot but it keeps dropping.

This pregnancy was unexpected as we were told that we had less an a 1% chance of ever having any more children. My partner has fertility issues and never told that almost none of the sperm it was viable. This is our miracle baby. We were so excited to find out shes a girl! Ivy Sage will hopefully be brought into this world healthy. We already have a 2.5 year old son who is so excited to be a big brother.

I’ve been on blood thinners my entire pregnancy and because of that baby girl could be small. I started getting monthly ultrasounds at 20 weeks. At my 28 week appt we were told she isn’t growing as big as she should be. As of right now she’s in the 5th percentile and growing almost 2 weeks behind. I am now getting weekly appts to check her growth and see if the placenta is giving her enough nutrients and is working properly. Which they said is looking like a big possibility. At 32 weeks we have a discussion on if I will be induced early depending on if it seems the placenta is working properly.

We are hoping this very complicated pregnancy has a happy ending. Everything is seeming so much more real as me and my partner had a conversation last night on what will happen if I die. What’s going in my will, if I’m leaving specific items for the kids, etc.

Unfortunately because of my high risk nature I haven’t been able to work since I was five weeks. Anything would help💕🤞 thank you!!
