Early BFP- indicative of twins ?

Question

I tested 8 days before my expected period and immediately got my BFP. I am certain of my ovulation date. 
Twins run in our families. Can being pregnant with twins make your hormones higher/ test positive earlier?
Anyone have experience with this being the case?

Sure can, 2 babies will produce more HCG. And stronger symptoms. Hope you have a happy healthy pregnancy 💕

Although you may know exactly when you ovulated, you wouldn’t be able to tell if baby implanted sooner then it typically would so you still could just be a little further along or could just have high hcg levels!
