Heads up: may be tmi for some.

I've been using the ring (annovera) for about 15 months now.... and when I first started, for months I was so paranoid that it would slide out (as was noted to sometimes happen, in strenuous cases). I finally relaxed and didn't worry about it... for close to a year.

BUT TODAY THE INEVITABLE happened. 😨 After carefully taking a tampon (light, btw), a moment later came out. INTO NASTY, poo, pee, and blood contaminated water. 🤮🤮

I fished it out as fast as I could *yuckyuckyuck*, cleaned myself up (ya know, finishing my business)... and then promptly washed it with soap (because I'm away from home and don't have the silicone cleaner I use for it and my menstrual cup.)

But WHAT NOW? Is it contaminated still? Can I put it back in? I don't recall the instruction packet saying anything about "if it should fall in the toilet, do this..."

And Heaven forbid, it should come out again, on a public bathroom with automatic toilets, and flushed away to Timbuktu!
