Sleeping in her own room

My baby turned 3 months on the 15th and today I decided to try and have her sleep in her own room before she gets old enough to really understand that she's in a different room and not with mommy and daddy so far it is going well, her room is across the hall from us and we will have the monitor plugged in by the bed so we can constantly see her and hear her and the camera has a night light on it while her room is pitch black, she only woke twice and went back down easy but does anyone have any tips or tricks I can use not only to help baby but to also help me with the separation anxiety?
