I did it !! My first birth was traumatizing :(. Was 36 hours of labour only to end in a C-section. I had an awful recovery and tore open my stitches at 2 weeks adding to my recovery time. I struggled to connect with my baby and lived in pain not only from the surgery but also having my birth plan go completely backwards. This time around with baby 2 I had midwives and a doula along with a different OB. and my labour was amazing. Still decently long but it ended with a vaginal birth and a very beautiful healthy baby. Having a vaginal birth makes it way easier to care for my newborn and toddler! I just wanna say to anyone out there who wants a vbac and qualifies YOU CAN DO IT. every birth is different and the key is to educate yourself trust your body 💞 beyond happy and proud. Feel like I took my power back.
