Newborn won’t sleep in bassinet or crib

Hey, first time mom here.

Our baby boy is 6 days old now but he absolutely HATES his crib and bassinet. He rather a swing, car seat, or my partner and I’s arms.

I do not want to put him in the car seat, swing— or hold him in my arms just so he can sleep. My fear of SIDS won’t let me.

So any advice is truly helpful at the point in time. As we’ve been struggling all week with it.
