Thoughts on name Mirabel?

Finally a name we both really like! The only thing is that when I googled it to see any associations, the new movie Encanto's main character is Mirabel. So...if we choose this name will that forever be what people think of? Am I looking into this too much? Does stuff like this matter? Also why is choosing a name so hard 😂

Yeah it would be like having a baby 10 years ago and naming her Elsa. Mirabel is a lovely name and I don’t think it should dissuade you, but everyone is going to assume it came from Encanto

Yeah when I saw the name I immediately thought of that movie and assumed you chose it because of the movie. It is a pretty name though, so I say do it.

I say use it! Honestly, I've found so many names from films and TV shows that I love. I'm not ashamed to say that's where I heard it! Mirabel is a lovely name.

I love the name Mirabel.
I haven’t seen the new movie. But Mirabel was a familiar name long before the movie, and will be after, too.
I think it’s totally fine to use. It’s great! And I’m kind of grateful to that movie for making it more likely that people will use this prettiest spelling instead of Mirabelle, which I use to see more often and don’t prefer.
