My husband and I always thought that we only wanted two kids. But here we are with a 4yr old and a 1.5yr old..and seriously considering another. I feel like my head says don’t do it, but my heart says maybe!? I’m going to lay out our pros and cons..and would love your input on what you would do in our situation

Pro:

1. A bigger family - husband is an only child and my sibling passed away in college..which leaves my kids with no cousins. Both my husband and I would LOVE to have a sibling or two in adulthood…the bond I had with mine was amazing. We find ourselves thinking about when we aren’t around, our 2 girls will only have eachother…

2. Another sweet child to love and make memories with… we love our girls sooo much and have room in our hearts for more

3. We have have the space and finances

Con:

1. Although we could afford it, we would have to change our lifestyle. Not put as much into savings, budget way more. Daycare for a 3rd is so expensive. And we are also sending our kids to private school so the education costs won’t go away until they are out of college! Thinking about what we could do/buy/save instead of having a 3rd definitely sways us

2. Not a lot of help- we both work full time (and hubby works some crazy hours/traveling). We don’t have any family to step in and help us..ever. So most things fall to me, which can be really hard sometimes

3. Getting older.. I’ll be 35 if we decide to get pregnant at the end of this year. I worry about complications for myself and the baby

4. Less time for the first two 🥺 will everyone be able to play a sport? Will I feel guilty? Will I be able to spend quality time with each?
