Bottomless Meals?

I am formula feeding my one month old. We are feeding him pretty much every 2 to 3 hours or on demand. It’s more on demand than anything else. It seems like he is eating between 3 and 4 ounces every 1.5-2hours But everything I read says it should be 2 to 3 ounces every two or three hours or on demand. I feel like I am over feeding him but he is not spitting up or anything like that. He has great Pee diapers and a good amount of poop diapers a day as well. I’m going to my doctor tomorrow and will bring this up but does anyone else have a child that seems to be a bottomless pit?
