I'm heartbroken 💔 My 2 month old has chicken pox.

My daughter came home with it about 3 weeks ago and we were so glad the spots have finally started to disappear before our wedding day, but no... 2 days until our wedding and now Elden has them 😭 I tried so hard to keep the kids apart but theres 2 of them and only 1 of me (partner works 12 hour shifts 6-7 days a week atm) so its not like I could lock them in separate rooms. I thought if I just avoided face to face interactions as best as possible it would be fine, and he'd be slightly immune from birth because I'm immune and from breastfeeding (Health visitors advice)

We started seeing spots appearing 3 days ago but the GP did a phone consultation (🙄) and said it sounded like it was just a sweat rash because he didn't have any other symptoms other than spots. Yeahno this is definitely not a sweat rash. They've started appearing all over his body now, but most are on the back of his head and they're starting to blister and crust. He's a little irritated, but he's still not had a fever and he's mostly still a happy boy.

Finally the doctor is seeing him today 😭 but I'm so sad. Our wedding is in 2 days and one of my bridesmaids (and 3 guests) are pregnant
