Cloth diapers
Background:
my baby boy is 5 months old and we have tried two cloth diapers types:
-cloth eez workhorse fitted organic unbleached with a wool cover
-cloth eez organic unbleached prefolds with wool cover
We ended up not really using them because they are SO bulky and my baby seemed really uncomfortable in them. Plus anytime he peed he immediately was uncomfortable so we had to change right away. Also, he would no matter what wet right through them and get his clothes wet. It was frustrating because he couldn’t fit into many clothes and we always had to size up due to the bulkiness. We have since found great uses in the prefolds for cleanups and such but we have been using Dyper brand diapers and honest brand diapers and they work for us. But I still wish I could really find something reusable and more eco-friendly that would work for us. Another thing that is important is breathability and I don’t want plastic (such as polyester or microfiber) touching his private area, and I want to minimize using plastic products if possible. If anyone has recommendations, please let me know!
