Breastfeeding after reduction

In may of this year it will have been 3 years since my breast reduction and lift. Mine was very invasive and had 143 stitches and my nipples were completely removed and put back on. My surgeon told me to assume I won’t be able to breastfeed and I just wanted to see if anyone else out there was able to! I’m really not worried about it as even if I can I just want to pump anyways and not actually have baby on the boob. Anyone go through this? I’ll be talking to my ob about it at my 12 week appointment as well
