Need some advice

I am 21 years old, I’ve been trying to conceive for 16 months and have had nothing… my periods are normal as far as I know but I am wanting to go to the doctors to get me and my fiancé checked over. I live in the uk and wondered if anyone had any advice about how it all works here… I am also worried about them judging me for my age, is there anyone on here that has been in a similar situation?
