Hey everyone, I found this group today and wanted to say hi. I started really excited and ready to go through some of the previous threads and see what everyone’s been talking about, but it’s not much haha I get it though.

Has anyone seen Hail Satan? on Hulu? I remember there was a guy on there who says being an atheist is boring because there’s no community. Religious people normally have a gathering place with people that hold the same beliefs. But saying you’re an atheist is just defining what you’re not. Which is why there is modern Satanism, it’s atheists who still want a community.

I just remembered that because apart for joining this group, sharing a couple memes, and occasionally talking about peoples “I’ll keep you in my prayers” and “gods plan” stuff, there’s not really much people think of contributing to an atheists and agnostics group.

So while it’s smaller than others, if you’re ttc, or any of the other stuff people normally post on glow, please post it here! I’d love to see the threads on here that we could fill with support from ourselves rather than one filled with someone else’s God.

I just like the space and it’d be a bummer to see it die out.

On another note, I recommend The Little Book of Atheist Spirituality by André Comte-Sponville, if books are your thing. I’d love book/documentary recommendations if you have any, even if you aren’t finding this post until a year from now.
