Why are a good amount of men so afraid of marriage 😞

And I’m phrasing it that way because then it’s just me who men don’t want to marry and that makes me feel even worse. I just turned 30, in my 3rd long term relationship (1st two ended cause I was being cheated on). We’ve spoken about marriage and he seemed very excited and even said once “it’s happening a lot sooner than you think, I hope you’re ready.” I brought marriage up last night and he acted like we’ve never spoken about it before and almost scared of the thought. I should have brought it up then but why the change? I plan on asking him tonight but just needed to vent a little. I’m honestly mostly just scared that I won’t be wanted the same way that I love. We deserve to be wanted and loved and someone who’s excited to make us their wife 🥺
