Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 6 months now, we are both 17. We have been sexually active for the past couple of months and we use condoms but I want more protection because I don’t want to have a kid while I’m young. How do I ask my mom to go on birth control? My fear is I ask and she makes a scene out of it and she tells his parents (our family’s are really close) and than they never let us hang out again. I was wondering if I just went to the doctor and asked for it but than she would see it on her insurance. How would you react if your daughter ask to go on birth control? Should I just go on it and wait for her to see it on the insurance or should I ask her?
