Super vivid dreams?

sarah • 🤰💙💙

Is anyone else going through this?

This is my 3rd pregnancy. My first one, I had some vivid dreams but they were almost always about parenthood, the baby, just exciting sweet moments.

With my second pregnancy, I had awful violent dreams, almost every single one was like a horror or thriller movie of some sort.

Both weren’t very frequent though, like the dreams would be here and there.

Well today I’m 14 weeks exactly with my 3rd baby and since around 8ish weeks I have a super vivid realistic dream EVERY SINGLE TIME I fall asleep- even if it’s a nap.

Yesterday, I took a 40 minute nap and had a dream that I found kittens outside by my back porch (I couldn’t even tell it was a dream, it’s like I could actually feel how soft they were and hear their little mews, I was upset when I woke up and realized it was a dream)

Then last night/this morning I had a dream my mother died 🙁 the emotions and pain felt so real and I woke up and just started crying and called her immediately to tell her I love her. Without fail, anytime I doze off it’s an emotional, extremely real dream and while this may seem fascinating to some, it’s becoming stress to me. Last week I woke up and had a panic attack because in my dream I caught my fiancé cheating (totalllllly out of character for him btw!) he felt so bad when I woke up so upset.

I’m scared for like, how emotionally distressed the dreams have been making me. I don’t want to start a dream journal because I can always remember them because they’re so realistic, I just want it to stop! I tried changing my diet around, I tried healthy snacks before bed, NO snacks before bed, but I always always have a vivid dream.

Please tell me I’m not the only one going through this 😂
