Help needed - possible chemical pregnancy?

Not sure if anyone else has experience this. AF was 1 day late so I did a test faint positive. Next day I had red bleeding for 2 days wasn’t too heavy not as heavy as my normally period. Then some brown spotting on and off. I did a pregnancy test yesterday and today and the lines look like they are getting stronger but I went to my dr about it today and they said it was probably a chemical and to wait two weeks
and test again 😩
