How long have you been TTC?

My wife and I are trying to conceive. She is transgender (mtf) and is waiting to start taking the hormones to transition. We are just starting this journey and I see so many people talking about the length of their journey,  I am afraid my TTC  journey will be as long and it will keep my wife from being the woman that she wants to be. 
How long has your journey taken you?

It took me only 1 month with my first and I'm going on 6 months still trying for my second. Don't get discouraged yet especially if your seeing it takes awhile from reading things on this app. People that are having trouble flock to liked minded people and support like this app. It may be a quick process and it may not, but don't worry about it before it even begins

1st- 5 yrs 1 month, miscarried
2nd- 2 yrs 1 month, she'll be 4 in a few weeks
3rd- 1 yr 8 months, missed miscarriage
4th- 1 yr, he'll be 5 months on the 27th
I only have one ovary though. Lost my right ovary in 2011. I was told it would take a miracle to conceive. Proved em wrong 4 times. Just took a bit longer.

My first took one try. I'm currently on my second try for my 2nd. I have no idea why, but my gut is telling me my 2nd is going to be harder. Maybe not until later in the year. No idea why I think that.

I have pcos. It took 11 months for my daughter, two of those cycles were medicated. 2 years into trying for our second, we’ve done a d&c because of lining issues before we started 7 medicated cycles that my body didn’t respond to, I did a hsg test to make sure my tubes weren’t blocked. I’m in my tww for my 8th medicated cycle that i finally ovulated for!

Going on month 8 for our first. It really depends on age, how your periods have been, cycle length etc so many factors

Baby #1: 1 cycle
Baby #2: ttc for 5 cycles now
