Discharge changes

Hi! Starting on the 13th of February I was getting brownish reddish discharge every day up until the 23rd when I got a whole lot of blood and bloody clumps. I expected that my period started, which is normally very heavy and was coming soon, except the next day I had no blood, just light brown discharge. Now, I just have normal discharge and my period is late by 6 days. Not sure what exactly is happening, so before I go to the Drs, anyone have any idea?
