Mini or combination ?

I’m going to start the pill this cycle but I want to know what is more preferable, mini pill or combination? Please let me know your opinions!!

If ur able to use estrogen, then the combination pill is more ideal & typically preferred. This is because combination methods (once ur body adjusts) give u a more regulated bleeding pattern (whereas progestin only methods like mini pills are most known for causing irregular bleeding patterns), and combination methods give a bit more leeway in terms of the time frame u have to take ur pills. Mini pills are typically VERY time sensitive & taking them even 3+ hours late is considered a completely missed & ineffective pill, in which backup protection should be used for at least 48 hours, otherwise ur at high risk of pregnancy.
