My moms dog won’t leave me alone

My moms dog is very well trained to the point it’s like he completely understands human language. He was trained by her boyfriends brother who trains police dogs. Every person adores him because he’s such a good dog. She’s actually had the cops called on her before because the neighbors thought he was too skinny and the cops laughed and said he’s actually kinda fat, and that they use his breed for police dogs sometimes (ironic because of his trainer) and he’s meant to be super thin just due to his breed and then they just sat there and loved on him and did cues that cop dogs get when they are trained and enjoyed tf out of how good he is and have legit stopped by the house just to say hi to him. We were like why tf are cops here. Him and the cops are tight I guess. He is HER dog like his loyalty is to her.

Until now. He won’t leave my side, he follows me home. He’s at my feet 24/7

She says come back and he looks at her like “mom, no.” And comes home with me. He never says no! What? So my mom is just letting him. He wakes me up in the mornings by shoving his nose in my ears and sniffing to tickle me. He’s constantly loving on me. I’ll go out on a walk and I’ll be in my head and it’s like he notices so he budges me over and over until he gets my attention and then acts like a goof rolling around with his tongue out. I’ll be sitting down and he comes up and puts his head in my lap and just lays his big ol head there until I get up.

Something is going on to where he is just 24/7 at my beck and call and won’t leave me. He’s currently asleep at my feet.

Does anyone know why this would happen? My moms just like fine bro love her idk I’m totally not jealous

Get this. She took him back. She was like you’re my dog dude you have to come home. HE OPENED THE LOCKED BACK DOOR AND CAME BACK TO MY HOUSE, OPENED MY DOOR (I can’t lock my back door it’s broke due to my dumbass, long story) AND CAME AND SLEPT AT THE FOOT OF MY BED. I woke up to my mom like WHERES MY DOG and I wake up in fear because my mom is terrifying so I’m like 🥺and he lifted his head up over the bed like 👀 and she said ARE YOU FOR REAL
