High HCG 4 weeks 3 days = Down syndrome?

Hi all,
I just received my beta levels and they are 1267. They were 105 on March 10 (5 days ago) I didn’t receive any information along side the number. As I search (biggest mistake) there is a lot information stating that high HCG could mean Down syndrome. If anyone had any information or experience with this please help. Thank you 🙏🏽

Oh honey I don’t know what you are reading but please get away from it!!! High hCG absolutely does not mean down syndrome. High hCG is a very good sign so yay you are pregnant and you have enough of that hormone to sustain the pregnancy!!! 🙏🏻💓 it’s totally normal to worry about everything in early pregnancy so I would really encourage you to stay off of Google because it will just make things worse. Do your best to enjoy your first trimester and send healing thoughts and words to your new little one growing in there! ☺️

Last year I was pregnant and my hcg level around 4 weeks 5 days was about 500. That baby had Down syndrome (found out with NIPT testing followed by CVS to confirm).  In my current pregnancy my hcg was around 2600 at 4 weeks 5 days, so much higher. My NIPT testing came back normal this week and this was an IVF pregnancy with a tested, normal embryo so I’m confident this baby does not have Down syndrome. Hope that helps 😊

It could also mean twins or Molar pregnancy 
Google is not our friend sometimes and I know how you’re feeling as I m currently 5wks + 6days pregnant and have high HCG Levels and wondering them Adam we thing.
According to the numbers, I’m about one week or two weeks ahead of where I should be and I know I’m definitely not further along than I should be so I’ll guess I just have to pray all is ok.
I have my first ultrasound tomorrow at 6wks so that May give me some reassurance,.. I’ll do the early genetic testing also… as I am 40

I had high HCG and some people suggested twins…. It was just a healthy singleton. I wouldn’t stress on high HCG - sometimes it just increases quickly when the pregnancy is healthy and isn’t an indicator alone of anything at all.

I would contact the nurse line at your doctor office to advise you. 
But I will say I’ve never heard of high hcg being downs. Most people like to assume high hcg means twins!
