What is going on 40+1

Arh soo I'm 40+1 and have never experience this befor with my other pregnancy, had constant cramps and tightening lastnight spread across the night, and well today I have had alot of discharge tinged with blood constantly all day and heaps of pressure down below with constant cramps where at some stage they actually are a stinging sensation and tightening have been lieing down most of the day and doing some washing in between, and I really have no clue when to call the hospital last two pregnancies I was told to go in after my bloody show happened but this bloody tinged mucus I am experiencing today is nothing like the clump I had previous pregnancies.
